PamCakes Exposed! Pamela Lund - Einstein Industries
Posted by Marko | Filed under Uncategorized
Einstein Industries Pamela Lund (PamCakes) is making some moves in the SEO/SEM Online World with great videos about PageRank and other related topics. Shoemoney has picked up the bait like a fat kid loves cake and is really helping them get some exposure. Props to Einstein Industries for staying on top of the SEO/SEM world and keeping everyone up to date and especially to PamCakes for putting her face and name out there.
I’d like to make some suggestion for PamCakes and her crew:
1. Show me some numbers - If you’re talking about online marketing or ranking in the search engines then please give us some numbers I can ponder over. I love seeing how a site moves up in the search engines and how various marketing efforts effect it so show examples and SHOW me that you know what you’re talking about.
2. Get the Einsteiner Involved - I know PamCakes can read a script that is probably written by some not so sexy guy like Mike that knows his $hit and that PamCakes adds that sex appeal but let me hear it from the source every now and then or get Einstiners involved by having a discussion and argue your points on why ohhhh lets say buying links is good or bad.
3. Teach me something - Most of what I have seen in the videos I already know so show or teach me something new. Einstein does SEO for thousands of websites so PLEASE give us some inside info and not regurgetated information.

My Experience with Sprint and the Famous Early Termination Fee
Posted by Marko | Filed under Uncategorized
I had been a Sprint customer for almost 4 years now and recently I decided that I wanted to buy an iphone because its simply better and easier to use then and PDA or cellphone Sprint offers. So before I bought the iphone I called Sprint to see 1. How long I had left on my contract and 2. To see if I can avoid the early termination fee. After talking to a customer service representative I found out that I had only 2 months left on my Sprint contract and the best part was that I could add a new line to the existing contract to avoid a termination fee and transfer out the old number to AT&T. This was great news right!? No so much… I called Sprint the next day after transferring over the number and they said a new number means a new contract so im sorry sir you’re going to have to pay the $150 early termination fee. As you can imagine I was pretty upset about this so what am I to do? How about email the shit out of the Sprint employees until I get a response I am happy with? Sounds good to me and thats exactly what I have begun and will keep doing.
Here is my first email to Steve Nielson, Sprint Chief Service Officer:
I had Sprint service for years now and for the most part it was ok. With the recent introduction of the iphone and me being a tech guru myself it only made sense to have it.
I called Sprint to find out two things before purchasing the iphone, 1. How long I had left on my existing contract and 2. To see if I can avoid the termination fee with the addition of another line to the existing contract so that I can still pay Sprint for the remaining months left. After speaking to a representative I found out I only had 2 months left on the contract and that I can indeed add a new line to the existing contract and transfer out the old number on it. This to me was great news and I was happy to find out that even if I am switching providers that Sprint at least would honor my contract and let me finish it out with the addition of another line. I specifically asked the representative if I should add the number before or after the transfer and he said after so that is what I did.
I bought the iphone, activated it and transferred the number. The next day I called Sprint to add the number and low and behold I can’t. Sprint won’t honor my contract or give me any kind of break. Being a customer for so long and having 3 other lines tied to that account I am very upset with this matter. This was in no way my fault. I called in specifically to find out what the rules are so this didn’t happen and now its happening.
I would like this matter addressed by a manager and someone higher if needed. I can be reached at (760) 272-5094.
Thank You,
Marko Nikolic
We’ll see what they come back with and I’ll keep you posted. Also on a side note the Iphone is amazing.
Update:
Here is what they came back with:
Dear Marko Nikolic,
Thank you for contacting Sprint. I shall be happy to assist you today with your line without contract problem.
Apology:
———Please accept my sincere apology for the inconvenience the Sprint customer care misinformation has caused you.
With 2 year contract:
———————-I am sorry to inform you that you can only add another line in your account with a new 2 year contract. Sprint does not have any such plan or option to add a new line of service with your old contract remaining days.
Early termination fee:
————————I have checked your account and found that canceling your line ending 5094 , you shall be charged early termination fee. Please email me after your new bill is posted. I shall be able to credit you the early termination fee as you have been misinformed.
It has been my pleasure working with you to resolve your issue. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you for choosing Sprint as your wireless service provider. We value your business and your loyalty. Take care, and have a great day!
Best Regards,

Top 5 PPC (Pay Per Click) Tips & Tricks
Posted by Marko | Filed under Uncategorized
I recently attended the PPC Summit in
1. If you are going to have Content Match turned on (which I don’t suggest in most cases unless you know exactly what you’re doing) use separate campaigns to target readers instead of searchers. People who have AdSense sites and are promoting your ads are generating traffic by having something valuable to read not by having pretty ads so by having separate campaigns that are targeted towards readers you are much more likely to get a click and a conversion. In almost all cases if you are starting out with PPC keep the Content Match off to avoid depleting your budget for clicks that are unlikely to convert.
2. Make those Display URL’s DISPLAY. Imagine a column of ads that say www.gnosticdesigns.com, boring right? Make your URL stand out by trying GnosticDesigns.com or better yet if you are using clean URL’s you can do something like this GnosticDesigns.com/PPC_Tips. Hitting Keywords in your Display URL will certainly give your ad more presence and will also increase your Ad score index which means it will display higher for less per click. Some people have also suggested sub domains that contain keywords which works as well but it’s really up to you as to how you go about it.
3. Writing Ads that get a readers attention, hit keywords and also contain less then 70 characters is definitely challenging but not impossible. For starts I would search the keywords you have in a particular ad group and see what kind of ads the competition has come up with, from there you can get a good idea as to what you are going up against and I’d be a hypocrite if I said don’t copy their ads but if you do decide to use their title or description try changing it up a bit and make it better. Be sure to include keywords in the description that you are bidding on for that ad group as it will help increase your ad index score.
4. When it comes to bidding on keywords it is vital that your ad groups are separated in a way that the keywords contained in each ad group are very relevant to each other because stuffing all your keywords in one ad group will mean you will pay top dollar for most of those keywords and your ad will most likely be near the bottom of the page. Having a tight group of keywords and good ad copy that ties it all together along with a relevant landing page means your ad will display on the top of results pages for less per click. If you look in your AdWords campaigns and see that you are paying almost the full bid amount for any one keyword then you are in a jam. Try adjust ad copy to get a better match between keywords that are costing you more because if the ad is not relevant to the keywords you can bet you will be paying top dollar for them.
5. If you get anything out of this post let it be this. In Google AdWords there is a Report called the Search Query Report which shows you what keywords people have searched to land on your site. How is this valuable? Simple. There is probably a number of keywords you will find in there that will shock you or simply be off as to what you are bidding for so all you have to do from here is make a list of these keywords that are either not relevant or simply wrong and put them in the negative keywords list to make sure you aren’t wasting money on clicks that are not going to convert.
Well that’s it! I hope this helps anyone getting into PPC and thank you PPC Summit for the great info!
Affiliate programs and reseller packages are most used tools to earn money online. Several hosting companies like ipowerweb offer exclusive reseller packages allowing subscribers to start a hosting service without much effort and investment. Most of the packages, nowadays, include built-in voip phone software and other multimedia tools. If you don’t want to sign up for reseller hosting services, you can use affiliate programs run by advertising agencies and other businesses.

AdSense for Mobile Now Available.
Posted by Marko | Filed under Uncategorized
AdSense now offers you another great way to make some extra cash through your websites with Google AdSense for Mobile. I’m not sure how many people even have sites made for mobile phones yet but in time the online mobile phone market will grow and so will the AdSense mobile phones sites. Im sure its just a matter of time until we start seeing made for AdSense site in the mobile phone market which will really be a drag because the search results are already so limited on mobile phones but im sure Google will address this issue accordingly.
It will be interesting to see how much more or less the ads will be paying out because the conversion rate will be so low and how many people do you think will even click on AdSense ads on mobile phones? I cant imagine that number being very high because people using mobile phones for searches will be some what savvy internet users most likely… Either way Google AdSense for Mobile is a great addition to the AdSense lineup and will give publishers just another way to make a buck!
Website promotion has been the vital issue for most of the webmasters. It’s not something that will come bundled in your managed hosting package and requires time and effort. However, if you follow few simple rules and adapt available web marketing techniques, you’re through. You should not use the html templates that use frames while developing your website. Once it’s up, you might start a link exchange program initially to get referrals. Then you can adapt advanced SEO techniques and customized search with proper search optimization.
